Manufacturing Production Work in Lake Elsinore, California

Remove finished tiles from the production line and stack them according to procedure on pallets for final packaging and shipping.
Inspect finished tiles as they are being removed for any quality defects, such as cracks, broken pieces, proper EP coverage, and color inconsistencies.  Remove and reject those defective tiles.  Notify the supervisor or lead persons of defects that are causing rejects, such as damaged rack rails.
When stacking, count the tiles on the pallet to ensure that the pallets contain the proper amount of tile and that they are stacked straight with no overhanging tiles on the second tier, and no tiles overhanging the edges of the pallet.
When triple-stacking or stacking, work with the profiles differently, according to their physical characteristics, to minimize rejects caused by dryside production handling.
Ensure that no tile gets around the production line and into the chain-machine.
Ensure that the proper amount of aluminum pallets are on the production line at all times.
When banding tile ensure that all straps are tight and properly placed. Also inspect the pallets to ensure that the correct amount of tile is on the pallet.
In a crisis situation help fellow workers as needed to prevent production line stoppage and facilitate continuous production operation.
Monitor and correct housekeeping problems in the stacking area by picking up or sweeping up any fallen material and wiping up or sweeping up any grease or liquid spills during production operations.
Perform assigned cleanup duties as swiftly and completely as possible.  If your cleanup duties are completed before the end of your shift see your supervisor for other assignments.
Follow all safety rules and procedures, especially those related to the use of personnel protective equipment and safe lifting procedures.
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:  Prior experience in manufacturing or construction, ability to work as a team, follow instructions/direction well, good communication, reliable, dependable. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, bend, stoop, walk, stand, push, carry, pull, lift (up to 50lbs), climb.  Work in a manufacturing environment
